St Augustine's 1 - 0 Southborough

 

A very good league match between the teams with equal competition when playing. Southborough worked hard at defending the ball but it was Joel that got the decisive goal with a wonderful assist from Seth to win the match. Well done to everyone who played and thank you for those who came to support.

St Augustine's 3 - 3 Brenchley and Matfield 

 

A wonderful football match for our year 4s against Brenchley and Matfield's year 5s. Although a significant height difference between the teams, the children worked fantastically. They showed great passing, strong defending and super saves by our goalkeeper. All three goals scored by Robbie! Well done to everyone!

St Augustine's 0 - 1 Skinners Kent Primary

 

Our first year 4 and year 5 match was played this year. Both teams played extremely well! St Augustine's played admirably with growing confidence for their first match. The children worked hard but it was Skinners' Kent Primary that came out on top.

St John's 6 - 0 St Augustine's

 

The children fought a hard battle against St John’s Primary School with great defensive work from Liam. Unfortunately for St Augustine’s, St John’s came out triumphant.

St Augustine's 6 - 1 Brenchley and Matfield

 

This week proved that 6 was a lucky number for our two football teams with another win in a friendly against Brenchley and Matfield. A hatrick from Dexter, two goals from Ronan and a final goal in the second half from Isaac kept our winning streak going. It was lovely to see so many parents and children cheering on both teams on the sidelines.

St Augustine's 6 - 0 Skinners Kent Primary

 

A fantastic league game at home against Skinners Kent Primary left big smiles on our footballer’s faces! With multpile goals scored, it meant an increase to our overall goal difference as well as putting us top of the table in the league! Well done to the team.

Wednesday 1st February 2022

St Augustine's 2 - 1 Skinners Kent Primary

 

In the first game, the team played really well. The showed great teamwork and great encouragement to each other resulting in a win against Skinners Kent Primary with both goals from Dexter.

 

St Augustine's 0 - 3 Claremont

 

In the second game, the fantastic teamwork continued but unfortunately, Claremont came out the winners. The team never gave up and fought right until the end!

St Augustine's 0 - 0 Bishops Down

 

Some superb football was played on Wednesday. We were playing top of the table Bishops Down and the team fought well to ensure that their lead was not extended further. Attempts at goal were tried from both teams but the ball did not find the back of the net. Our standings remain the same as we prepare for a football tournament and some friendly games in the coming weeks.

St Matthews 0 - 3 St Augustine's

 

The first away game of the year proved successful. St Matthew’s battled well but St Augustine’s came out triumphant. 

With great team work and support from the whole team, Seth found the back of the net all three times!

St Augustine's 6 - 0 Brenchley and Matfield

 

The rain didn’t stop the children at this weeks football match!

A hand ball from the opposing team started the game with a penalty. Dexter performed well and got St Augustine’s first goal. 

Throughout the remainder of the game, there were 3 further goals from Dexter, a goal from Daniel and a finishing goal from Isaac.

 

Final score 6-0!

 

Wednesday 17th November 2021

St Augustines 7 - 0 Brenchley and Matfield

 

Our children played a wonderful football match on Wednesday 17th November against Brenchley and Matfield Primary School. The first half was something not to be missed with 7 goals being scored by Lucas, Ronan and Chibuike. Brenchley and Matfield defended well during the second half of the game which kept the score at 7-0.
